DX5 in September

Hobby Japan has revealed a few of the DX5 figures, and says the set will be released in September. It looks like Bandai might be settling on alternating NEO and DX releases... DX3, NEO3, DX4, NEO4, and now DX5.

Anyway, the lineup so far includes the first MS IGLOO figure for the Gundam Collection line, the Ze'Gok. From ZZ Gundam, it has the Dreissen, Qubeley Mass Production Type, Bawoo (I bet the Glemy Toto version will be a secret figure...), and Schuzrum Dias. It also includes the MSV Full Armor Nu Gundam and the Gundam Double X from Gundam X, which is also a first for that series.

DX5 will presumably include 12-14 figures as all the previous DX releases have, so I think it is safe to assume more figures will be revealed in the coming weeks.

More Alpha Azieru Pictures

Over on the Toys Daily forum, member gtf has posted pictures of the Alpha Azieru from what seems to be Japanese toy store shelf.

It looks like the model won't ship with painted panel lines... Still a prety detailed model though.

More Special Figures?

It looks like in addition to the 40,000,000 Anniversary figures, there will also be a couple Char's Counterattack "painted clear" figures released along with the Alpha Azieru. Could someone who can read Japanese give us a hand with the details?

Other than that, there hasn't been any Gundam Collection news recently... I hope the hobby magazines early next month reveal something new for us to look forward to!
